The Students' Union Shop (XL) @ University of Galway is hiring!

 

Description

Full-time staff required for the Students' Union Shop (XL) located on campus at the University of Galway starting at the beginning of September 2026.

 

Duties include

  •  Attending to the needs of customers and maintaining a high standard of service.

  •  Ensuring that all company procedures, including HACCP, are adhered to at all times.

  •  Operating tills and reconciling cash at the end of shift.

  •  Stock order, goods inwards and product replenishment duties

  •  Merchandising displays and making sure all SEL’s are correct

  •  Rotating products in line with best practice to ensure zero waste levels are achieved

  • Goods Inwards duties include receiving deliveries from suppliers, checking products against delivery dockets and stocking deliveries in the storeroom prior to being needed on the shop floor- sales area

 Full training will be provided in the areas listed above.
